ENGLISH 1 (FU10112)

ENGLISH 1 is designed to develop receptive skills (listening and reading) and productive skills (speaking and writing). Through engaging tasks, students will be selecting various information from a range of listening tasks independently. Furthermore, the course focuses on presenting ideas to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms within academic and social contexts. Students will also be utilising effective reading skills to solve comprehension questions based on diverse textual materials. Aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), this course supports foundation students in progressing toward the B1 independent user level, equipping them with essential English language skills for further study and everyday interaction.
